Notes:
Beautiful pink flowers up to 7″ across. Blooms in Spring. I have always referred to it as a tulip tree because the leaves look like a coloring page tulip flower shape. When I google tulip tree, only poplar trees come up. I would love to get some more info on this beauty. Thanks, Laura

Thanks so much for your help. I think Buck nailed it, in that it is a variety of Peony Tree. It doesn’t die back to the ground each year but has a woody stem.
