Notes:
These plants have large leaves, averaging 9 to 14 inches wide. Stems are jointed similar to bamboo shoots, but a bit more “knobby” at the joints. Under good conditions, these plants have grown up to 7 feet tall in the summer. They seem to prefer partial sun and come back every spring. The blooms look like white worms and measure around 5 to 7 inches long. The roots have spread over the years and have created a nice little “jungle” in our back yard. No one seems to know the name of this plant.
