Notes:
These things will grow to at least 3 feet high if I let them. We had some new landscaping/mulch installed last year, and now we have these everywhere – dozens and dozens. When I pull them out (wearing very thick rawhide gloves), they don’t come easily – and they almost seem like they’re attached to a network root under the soil. Any idea what they are? And if they’re part of some underground runner network, how do I get rid of them as they grow around all my new shrubs?
