Notes:

This plant is about 4 feet by 4 feet and has been in my garden for maybe 5 years now. It does not spread and stays as a nice clump. It started blooming about 2 weeks ago and will probably stay for another week or more. I cut it back to the ground at the end of the year. Lovely magenta flowers on multi branched stems

    Maybe a species in the loosestrife (Lythrum) or one of its cultivars? Check it out and see if you have a match. If this is of the genus, I can’t tell which one you have. The link below is for one of the cultivar ‘Modern Pink’. Best wishes!
