Notes:

I found this bizarre, prehistoric looking plant at the bottom of a gorge while hiking in Hocking Hills, Ohio. If anyone has ever been there, we were hiking from Old Man’s Cave to Cedar Falls. The soil where I found it is loose and acidic, and judging by it’s location the plant probably does well in a bit of shade and in wet areas. It was about four feet tall or taller, had no visible spores or reproductive parts at all, and the biggest leaves were roughly a foot across. Please help!
