Photo taken along Chunky Gal trail near Haysville, NC at approximately 4000 ft. elevation. Growing on overgrown (closed) unpaved road. Photo taken on 8/16/2014. I have additional photos of leaf only. The flower buds almost look like a pinkish / red berry resembling a raspberry.
