I just finished this oil on panel for an exhibit I have coming up at the State Botanical Gardens (in Athens) beginning this June. I painted it from a photo I took last summer. Unfortunately, I have no idea what type of flower it is, and need to know for my exhibit. I wondered if you could identify it for me?

Nice picture. Can you post the original photo? Really need to see the leaves, and any other info you can provide about plant size, location in the garden… Blooms in the summer… Could be zinnia, or chrysanthemum… Or even dahlia. Good luck with the exhibit.
