Notes:
During a recent visit to Roatan, I saw these plants growing and thought they would be great to add color to my current garden. Do you know what type of plants these are and if they would grow in the GA climate?

Beautiful plants/pictures! I have the plant in the first picture and live in west central Georgia. It has been through a few frosts and has come back every year, so far. We will see what happens after this hard freeze.

hortiphoto Master Identifier says:
1. Cordyline fruticosa (aka Cordyline terminalis) 2. One of the many cultivars of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 3. A Heliconia, possible H. psittacorum ( http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/photo-heliconia-psittacorum-9877.htm ). None of these will tolerate anything but the lightest frost, if any, and certainly not on a regular basis. All very easy to grow in a greenhouse, though.
