Notes:
The tree came up as a volunteer. I’d never seen it until it bloomed this spring. Looked like a peach bloom. However, the fruit is not a peach. I’m now leaning toward a plum but….

I meant apricot, rather than peach, but the results would be the same with a peach. 🙂

Could be a volunteer hybrid, like a pluot or apriplum maybe. If a peach is fertilized by a plum (or vice versa) the resultant fruit is normal in the first generation but the seeds, if fertile, will produce a hybrid. Whatever it is, I’d eat it!
