Notes:
I thought I had planted a line of carrots before leaving on vacation for a month. I came home to this rather strange plant. It’s about 1.5 ft tall with a white flower on top and small pods up the stem. WHAT IS IT? And is it edible??

hortiphoto Master Identifier says:
It’s a Brassica family plant and looks like one of the mustards, most likely Sinapis alba ( http://www.farmingstockphotos.com/img12233.htm ). Sure, it’s edible, if you want to make mustard, but it’s more often grown as a green manure.
