Notes:
Green and variegated leaves.– first photo 2nd photo – this just grew on our backyard last year , did not flower or anything now it has spiky buds for a week.

The second plant’s photo is hard to tell with the bright sun light had distorted the photo. I’m guessing only, maybe a type of burdock (Arctium). This might be lesser burdock (Arctium minus)? You will know more when the flowers open. If it isn’t burdock, re post with photo of flowers. First plant is a type of African milk bush (Euphorbia). This maybe either Euphorbia grantii syn. Synadenium grantii or Euphorbia bicompacta Rubra.
