Red Tip Photinia – Berries
Q: In our yard we have a large red tip hedge and recently noticed one of the bushes has sprouted red berries on the ends of its limbs. We have contacted several local nurseries and the county extension service and none of them have ever heard of it before. Have you heard of such
berries before?
A: Although I have never seen one produce fruit, this site has a short description of the shrub plus pictures – – the last of which clearly shows fruit!
