Chicory – Identifying
Q: In April I brought a plant to Pikes and they said it was a chicory. It came in a wildflower packet of seeds about 3 years ago. It was about an 8 inch clump, about 6-8 inches tall. They are all now about 5 feet tall, spikes of yellow 4-petaled, mildly trumpet shaped flowers. Isn’t chicory only blue?
A: Yup – as far as I know chicory flowers are always blue. Can you send some close-up and medium close digital pictures?
