Notes:

This single clump appeared in an area that I don’t plant things. I don’t see it anywhere else so I’m not sure if its a weed or maybe something that was brought in by birds?

With out scale to compare of these plants. I’m guessing only, maybe some thing in the Caryophyllaceae family and in the Dianthus genus? This might be sweet william (Dianthus barbatus) since these look similar to those D. barbatus flowers about to bloom. Check out the link and compare. You will know for certain as yours mature. This is a form of carnation (dianthus)that probably Sweet William. If it is just the carnation form it is probably an annual, but my Sweet William always came back as a perennial and I love them!
