On the side note, for identifying the exact cultivar for fruit tree, you need other details to help to narrow down i.e. flowering time , fruits color & shape, tree habit, etc… But with many varieties, it could hard to tell. You could also try the experts from a society of a particular genus for help, example the Crabapple Society or Prunus Society ( for cherries, peaches plum, etc…).
