Notes:
IÕm told that this sapling is a tree that will grow to 5 meters and that it is wild here in Mexico and that it is locally called Jamaiquilla, though I can not dereference the plant by that name on the Internet.. The first post had a bad photo so I hope that this will appear better. Stone flower fanatic thought from looking at the poor photo that it might be a hibiscus. If so could you suggest which one has ruby red marajuana like leaves?? Thanks

This might be a type Red-Leafed hibiscus of Hibiscus acetosella. Some of the varieties are Red Shield, Jungle Red, and Mahogany Splendor(leaves are more maroon).
