Notes:

What is wrong with this rhododendron? It is putting on many buds, but the leaves look discolored and copper-colored. Thanks.

    The plant does have a lacebug infestation. The change in leaf color is normal, as this is a PJM rhododendron; its leaves turn a copper/purple in winter. It is one of the first to bloom in spring. They seem to be more difficult to grow than most rhods. They can take full sun.
