Notes:
An acquaintance posted this image on Facebook asking for others to id it but everyone is saying it’s a Catalpa sapling and I disagree for what I believe to be obvious reasons. Anyone have an idea S to what this is? It’s growing in a yard in NW Arkansas

Looks very much like paulownia, although the leaf is a little different from most of them I see. There is considerable variation in paulownia leaf shape. It is a highly aggressive invader, and will spread on the breeze, if you let its seed pods mature.
