This is growing laterally in bare spots and intertwined with my St. Augustine. Very long tangled offshoots. Growing under the St. Augustine so when I pull it uproots the stolons. Have not had success killing it.

Without the flowers to help narrow down, I’m guessing this might be torpedo grass (Panicum repens)? If this isn’t a match, please resubmit with closeup photos of ligule, collar sheath, auricle, flowers, etc….Check out the link below for one of the control method. Best wishes!
