I just receive this plant as a gift and the pot does not have a drainage hole. I need a name so I can learn how to take care of it. At this point I don’t even know if it is a house plant. There is also a grassy plant in the pot that I know nothing about. Thank you.

This might be Variegated Elephant bush, Rainbow bush (Portulacaria afra ‘Variegata’). It is a succulent. You should transplant to another pot comes with a drainage hole. Use a gritty, fast-draining soil, like a succulent mix. Sorry, I can’t tell what the grass-like plant is. Maybe you can try grow it a separate pot, you will learn more as it matures.
