It will be hard to tell which of the sweet varieties with out the plant’s fruits. From the scant information on the Internet, sweet Acerola include: Hawaiian Queen, Tropical Ruby, Manoa Sweet, and Florida Sweet. Manoa Sweet: Orange-red fruit, high yield. Tree is upright (about 15ft), spreading. A favorite with home gardeners. Florida Sweet: Fruit large, 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Thick skin, only semi sweet and very juicy.
