Notes:
Was given to me on Arbor Day 3 yrs ago, they said it was a hickory bush, but everything I’ve looked up doesn’t mention a bush. Is it really a tree with lots of trunks!?

Maybe a type of hazelnut (Corylus)(?). If this is hazel nut, I’m guessing yours is either American hazel nut (C. americana) or beak hazel nut (C. cornuta).
