Name that plant

This is a low to the ground Holly type plant, that has Yellow & Purple Flowers. I saw them out in the woods near Watkinsville, Georgia.

Leatherleaf Mahonia. It’s not a holly. The blooms are fragrant yellow and the purple berries that follow are eaten by birds. A nice shade plant. I believe the botanical name is Mahonia bealei.

This is a Mahonia, also known as Oregon grape. They are considered to be a slightly invasive species in Georgia.
