Notes:
Got cuttings from a neighbor last March, rooted and planted in my yard early summer. In my research I haven’t been able to find anything that looks quite like it. First 2 photos are my neighbor’s plants as they look now and the 3rd is mine as they look now and gives a better look as the leaves. Any ident-ideas?

Strike that last species name. The new accepted name for the plant is Thyrsacanthus tubaeformis, syn. Odontonema stritum, Red Firespike.
