Notes:
Our community, still under development, has a number of “preserves”, where the native plants are left alone, at least in theory. This large plant, at least a dozen feet across, is at the edge of a preserve area, but is spreading into the adjacent lawn; looks like it’s sending up new shoots. The leaves are up to about ten or more inches long.
