Notes:
Two pictures of a large shrub I can’t identify. One just started in the front of my house a year ago. The closeup of the large shrub shows a lot of branches and small leaves about the size of my thumb’s fingernail. Thanks for any help in identifying this shrub.

Thank you for the follow up photo Suzanne! The leaves looks glossy like boxwood (Buxus) but they appear to be alternate while boxwood has opposite leaves. Without the flowers to help narrow down, I’m not able to go further than my speculating that it might a cultivar in the Ilex crenata, but not having the plant in person I could very well wrong.
