Link to a species in the evening primrose genus (Oenothera), the common evening rose (O. biennis). If these are not these genera, make new post when they bloom with flowers photos. Best wishes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oenothera_biennis

It appears you have two different plants. With out flowers to help narrow down, for now I could only suggesting these two genera for you. 1- Maybe cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata) (?). Click on images to enlarge from included link. Flowers will confirm or rule out the ID. 2- Maybe a type of evening primrose (?). http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/PlantFinderDetails.aspx?kempercode=m200
