Notes:
I found it in the woods, transplanted it to a bed in my yard, and the next year it grew a stalk 4 ft. tall. Had some flowery sort of things at the top as shown in photo

Thanks, yes…..I think that’s it alright. The leaves are a little flatter and greener than the photos I saw, but the flowers are an exact match. A distinction seems to be that it’s “Eastern False Aloe”.
