I took this photograph in Montana and thought the irregular shaped leaves would make it easy to identify, as well as the Red dots around the center, but I can’t figure it out! Maybe a broad leaf arnica?

Maybe a type of tickseed (Coreopsis). Sorry, I can’t tell which one this is. According to sources, some of the species grow in Montana include C. lanceolata – lanceleaf tickseed, C. tinctoria – golden tickseed, C. tinctoria var. atkinsoniana – Atkinson’s tickseed.
