Notes:

I have recently planted several store bought plants and some seeds in my planter boxes in my little yard. I marked all of the seeded area off with descriptions of what is growing, however, in an unmarked area several of these appeared within the past few weeks. They are currently about 6 – 8″ in height and seem to be centralized in one particular area. Some of the dirt in the beds may have come from containers that got “dumped” and mixed in with the dirt. Can anyone help identify? Poisonous?

My son made 3 varying depths of wooden planter boxes. Mostly sun.
I need some advice on how to get them ready for plants and good choices for what to put in for herbs, vegetables, fruit or flowering plants.
My son put in some weed control fabric and some soil (but need more) so far but can alter if necessary.

I kinda does. I assume the are safe. I always have bird feeders around the yard, I wonder if a little birdie dropped some seeds to grow.

It looks a lot like a wildflower named Ladies Thumbs. Here’s a pic, you can see what you think. I have seen them white and pink. http://www.bio.brandeis.edu/fieldbio/Wildflowers_Site/ladysthumbpage/ladysthumbpage.html
