Notes:
This plant has a flower that looks like a red cat’s tail or bottle brush. Anyone know what it’s name is?

stone Master Identifier says:
acalypha hispida, red chenille. Usually grown as an indoor plant, this ground cover survives a GA winter in a protected location.

Bobby Master Identifier says:
Is it Red Hot cat’s tail (Acalypha Hispida)? The header on your post says that yours is a vine? Acalypha Hispida is not a vine. http://ozladym.com/pics/Garden%20Plants/Cat’s%20Tail,%20Red%20Hot%20Cat’s%20Tail,%20Chenille%20Plant%20(Acalypha%20Hispida)%202.jpg The dwarf variety is here http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/16574/
