Notes:
This was lost from my other post. I’m helping a friend clean up their new place. I’ve seen it, but can’t recall the name. Save it? or get rid of it? Thanks!

There are several woody plants with similar looking leaves. Without more details to narrow down (closeup of main trunk, bark, flowers or fruits), I suggest you check out these woody plants. The mock-orange (Philadelpus), the beautybush ,(Kolkwitzia amabilis) and Deutzia. If any of these tree isn’t a match, please resubmit with details mentioned above. Best wishes!
