Notes:
Tree is approx. 4 feet tall. Full spread of leaves on top, approx. 3-4 feet wide. Branches of leaves were tighter and more upright as the tree grew, then branches relaxed and spread out. Unique speckled/spotted trunk. Including photo of young plant 2 weeks ago; seems to be twisting out of the ground. No flowers, no buds.

It looks like one of the voodoo lilies but I don’t think they grow that far north and I’ve never seen one that big. Is it yours? If not, it’s possible someone digs it up in the fall and over-winters the bulb indoors. They have really stinky blooms if it is, but the bloom shows up first so you would have seen it by now.
