Notes:
I had a succulent in a vase for the longest time, and the succulent had died. Therefore, I cut off a majority of the succulent in hopes to give it life again. Then one day, off to the side of the vase, a new plant started to grow. And rapidly. The plant is very leafy – and sprouting very small florets with some type of fuzz on it. I can tell that it not coming from the succulent root itself and I was just wondering if anyone can assist to identify the plant?

Maybe mulberryweed? (Fatoua villosa). Check it out and see if you have a match. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=Fatoua+villosa&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi4l6m3gd_NAhVGbiYKHZ_NAXcQ7AkIMw&biw=1867&bih=909#imgrc=kMLeCZ837lI-rM%3A
