Notes:
This is an old pass-along plant. It grows from a bulb, and in the spring produces strappy, amyrillis-like foliage that dies back about late June. The flower stalks are 36″ tall. My plant produced three stalks and has been blooming for 10 days or so The flowers are just now declining.

There two lilies genera that have similar look. This could be either Amaryllis belladonna (belladonna lily) or resurrection lily (Lycoris squamigera) ? I’m leaning toward resurrection lily (L. squamigera). According to sources, belladonna lily produces seeds while resurrection lily does not.
