tore down old house and graded backyard to redo landscaping. the thin green shoots next to the shovel would grow very quickly (8-12″ over course of a week) with white/reddish root base under the ground. very few leaves almost bamboo like. pulled out easily this picture is the root system I dug out due to how frequently these popped up after a week of rain
