Notes:
I have a sasanqua bush and we noticed this “fruit” on it tonight. Never have seen it before. Doesn’t really look like a gall. thanks

Yup… it’s fruit… Wait a bit longer, and the fruit will open to show 2, 3, or 4 large dark coloured seeds. I like to gather the seeds and plant them in a seed bed… If you check the ground around your camelia, you may already have seedlings.
