What is this gorgeous large shrub / small tree that is blooming right now? It looks like a camellia, but is more shaped like a tree. Is it a Stewartia Pseudocamilla? Thank you for the help!

I don’t think this is Stewartia pseudocamellia. Its blooming season is in the summer. Possible something in the Camellia sasanqua (?). According to sources depending on species & cultivars, camellia can grow quite large . With so many varieties, it’s hard to tell which one this is. Perhaps you could try the North Georgia Camellia Society for its exact ID. Copy & paste the included link below and check out one with similar look, camellia ‘Setsugekka’. Best wishes!
