    Hi Terry, sometime a plant is without flowers to help to narrow down its genus, species, etc…it could take a bit longer. There are few plants that have similar look like your plant, with its leaves are alternate & pinnately compound, and we are hesitant to steer you in the wrong direction without flowers to confirm its ID. There are few plants family that I suspect To my eyes yours looks like Brazilian pepper tree (Schinus terebinthifolus)(?), again with the absence of flower I’m not comfortable with this speculation . Please give us an update when its blooms with flower’s photo in a new post. For now check out images of S. terebinthifolus on these included links below. Thank you & best wishes! Laura
