I have smelled this in public and was unable to locate exactly what shrub it was coming from. Today I smelled it and there was only one choice and I found the exact shrub. I want to know what it is called…help!!!!

Yes indeedy, tea olive, likely an asian variety. Though the tea olive does have American cousins. I have six in my front yard growing as a hedge and the yard is delightful 2-3 times a year. Love this plant!
