Tree propagated by me for some reason. It either produces fruit or can be used as a roostock but I can’t remember what it was.

That’s what I thought as well. However, it leafs out before all other pear trees on my property. Leafs out as early as quince but it isn’t quince. The bottom wood color is greenish and turns red at the top. There are thorns on the ends of small branches similar to pear, apple and plum seedlings. I’ll probably graft a pear to it and see if it takes.
