Notes:
The seeds of the Plant shown were sold as Venus Fly trap but the plant does not look like it,and I have no idea what it is.there is no flower yet but has a bud . it is about seven weeks old and a slight feel of fir on the leaf.Leaves are opposite each other and have a jagged edge.the leaves on the plant drop in the evening then upright in the morning.there are also opposite side shoots up the stem.

Maybe Mexican sunflower (Tithonia rotundiflora). Cultivars include ‘Torch’, ‘Fiesta Del Sol’ and ‘Goldfinger’.
