Notes:

I have taken a cutting of this rose to our local nursery. They had no clue. The flowers are just barely 1 inch across. Begin blooming Mid Spring…and do not stop until frost. There are Rose Hips in the Fall. Each larger stem, has several small weak stems with many flowers on each grouping. The whole plant is between 3 and 4 feet TALL and 3 to 4 feet WIDE…it has doubled in size in the 3 years we have lived here. Never gets any diseases or aphids.

It will be difficult to narrow down the exact ID for your rose, since there are species, classification, hybrids, cultivars etc… I’m guessing only, maybe it is a cultivar of Polyantha group, perhaps “Mother’s Day”? The experts from the local Rose Society probably the best source for your rose’s ID. Best wishes! http://www.rose.org/resources/societies/#id
