Notes:

Is this a variety of Artemisia or Dusty Miller? Which specific variety is this (name?) I can’t match the leaves to any plant pics found on Google Images. Identifying the plant would help me learn about its lighting, irrigation and feed requirements. Many thanks in advance.

Wow glad Laura found that. A tough one from the tropics. Hope you can post the flowers.

Thank you very much, Laura. We have a match! I would not be letting it flower as I heard these plants become leggy once they flower.

Agree with Metrosideros to wait for the plant in bloom. For now, check out Crosstephium genus, species Crossostephium chinense and see if you have a match. Best wishes Shashi! http://www.wm-sec.com/crossostephium_chinense.htm

Would be good to see flowers, then we could get the right Genus.

Thanks Shashi, but the leaves don’t look the same for Artemisia ‘Nana’. http://www.perennials.com/plants/artemisia-schmidtiana-nana.html

Metrosideros, can you confirm whether it’s an Artemisia schmidtiana ‘Nana’?

Thanks, Metrosideros. But that’s not it. The leaves and the leaf arrangement around branches are not similar.

Looks like Jacobaea maritime, Sliver Ragwort. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacobaea_maritima
