Notes:
saw many of these on a west trip last week. Montana, Wyoming, Washington, etc. all along highways but saw them other places, too. Pictures of leaves/flowers and the trunk. did not go to actual west coast. Thanks!!

thanks Laura, with that bit of information, I looked it up in my tree book and it looks like it might indeed be a Russian Olive tree – I think in that family. they were EVERYWHERE and it says they root easily. it was just so silvery green. THANKS love this website
