Notes:
This plant looked so pretty next to my tomato plant, I thought it was some lettuce I had planted that came back to life. But, even though I added some to my salad, I still wondered. When I saw similar plants around my yard, I thought uh-oh! WEED! I looked it up and came across prickly lettuce and milkweed. Not sure. Please tell me it is safe to eat!

Really need pic of entire plant. From what I can see, might be lettuce… Lots of wild varieties, and if you like bitter… I pick the growing tips for eating… Less bitter than the larger leaves. Good job learning the wild plants, nice way to supplement an otherwise bland diet.
