Notes:
I have two of these growing in my flower garden. I left them there in hopes that they’re some great plant I forgot I planted last year and not just giant weeds. They’re getting up to 6 feet tall and have yet to bloom. Any ideas what it is? Thanks.

Looks like sunflower family (helianthus) possibly sun chokes. Late summer bloomer.
