Notes:
This plant is growing in a pasture by a small stream in Akabama. I wish to transplant to yard. I don’t know what it is or when to move it were it will b safe.

It’s a Piedmont Azalea (Rhododendron canescens)…http://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=RHCA7 I would dig it up and transplant in the fall, maybe Thanksgiving timeframe. It like acidic, well drained soil, in light shade. If it’s too shady it won’t bloom, if to sunny, it will burn up.

Ty but it’s not a Cahaba Lily it has a tree/shrub like base and has little leaves. I will get a better pic and post.
