Just planted by landscapers in at new house, was told i was getting maples and this is not a maple. Can you tell me what it is please?

Maybe a type of oak (Quercus). I’m guessing only, this is either Live oak (Quercus virginia) or Laurel oak (Querscus laurifolia)? Link below will help how to identify between these two . But I’m not an oak expert.
