Notes:
tree is 30 ft. + tall, leaves are large up to 12 inches, simple, opposite, dark green with light green veins, tropical looking. Brown terminal buds. Tree trunk is smooth and green colored.

CORRECTION: leaves of this tree are ALTERNATE not opposite. (Acer species have opposite leaves) Could this be Firmiana simplex, Chinese Parasol Tree?

It’s always best to take a picture of the leaves on the plant… Picking a leaf or a flower to photograph against a neutral background is the kind of thing we do when we’re trying to stump people. I’m pretty sure that you’ve posted a limb from a fig tree. Fig newtons anyone?
